Our Programs:

RSVP "Retired & Senior Volunteer
Program' is the only program in Lee County, whose focus is on
recruiting & referring RSVP volunteers where they are needed, and
recognizing them for the service they provide. We offer 'one
stop shopping' for Retirees & Seniors 55 and up who are
looking for volunteer opportunities & assist non profit,
governmental agencies & proprietary healthcare facilities seeking
additional RSVP volunteers. We currently collaborate with over 60
agencies in Lee County.

The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is in need of
individuals to be information specialists. Examples of
responsibilities include answering
the phone and taking messages, greeting visitors and directing them
appropriately, answering requests for relocation and tourism
information.
If you have a pleasant outgoing disposition and are knowledgeable of
Fort Myers, or willing to be trained, this opportunity is for you.

The Elizabeth
Kay Galeana Center of Catholic Charities needs volunteers to
assist with
unloading and stacking food in the food pantry on Wednesdays,
prepackage food boxes for clients and assist with distribution
Monday-Friday, provide office assistance, teach English Class,
assist with after school and summer program for elementary aged
children, pick up bread each morning, organize diaper drives at
local churches and help organize and maintain the
baby closet.

ECHO
needs volunteers to help with their mission. This not-for-profit
Christian
organization located on a demonstration farm in North Fort
Myers needs
volunteers in various positions. These include mailings,
gardening,
building maintenance and more. ECHO networks with
community leaders
and agriculture workers in developing countries,
funding and
sharing solutions for families growing food under
difficult
