The Friendship Volunteer Center has developed the Teen Friendship Volunteer Corps. Teen volunteers will engage in year-round projects and activities that will enhance our community.  Teens can earn community service hours and C.A.S. hours to meet their high school requirements and enhance their College transcripts.

The Teen Friendship Volunteer Corps is looking for teens willing to take leadership roles in their communities to represent the youth of their community at local community meetings and to share ideals with the youth of other communities within Lee County.     This site was designed to help teens to find organizations and become volunteers. Each organization has listed: types of teens they accept, contact information, and a short summary of what the organization does and what teens can do for them. If you have any questions about a specific organization, please contact them. Keep this in mind as your explore and research the various volunteer options: organizations love to hear from your child, not from you, and teens are more likely to stick with something if they enjoy it and its what they like to do.
