RSVP and the Teen Friendship Volunteer Corps of Lee County

Volunteer Recruitment and Referral

The RSVP and the Teen Friendship Volunteer Corps helps organizations publicize their volunteer needs through press releases, on the internet, & in feature articles in the "Volunteer Voice" newsletter. For the individuals seeking volunteer opportunities, we offer "one stop shopping" through our partnerships with over 100 agencies throughout Lee County.

Volunteer Promotion & Recognition
We collaborate with public, profit and non profit organizations to draw attention to the good work volunteers do. We promote special projects and community events and report our local service to the Volunteer Florida; The Governor's Commission on Volunteerism & Community Service and the Points of Light Foundation. We formally recognize and reward outstanding volunteer service.

National Volunteer Week and National Service Days

The Teen Friendship Volunteer Corps initiates and partners with other agencies on various projects organized to mark National Services Days such as Make A Difference Day, National Youth Service Day, Join Hands Day, National Family Volunteer Day and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
